RESEARCH
Developing a rate-equation for production of L-lysine by immobilized cells of Corynebacterium species
In this experimental study, an attempt is made to investigate the effect of various important parameters on the production of L-lysine by immobilized cells in a stirred tank reactor. In this work the effect of glucose, ammonium sulphate concentration and biotin on L-lysine production were studied. In this work the authors have observed that the optimum values of glucose, ammonium sulphate and biotin for L-lysine production were 90 g/L, 10 g/L and 200 µg/L respectively by immobilized cells.
